"In order that she speaks Klingon language, my girl had asked
me if I am willing to teach her." My problem with this is that
I consider "she asked me if" to be very idiomatic (if not a bit
off the beaten path even for English).

Note that Klingon does not have indirect quotations. It has only
direct quotations, hence the difference between your prefixes
and mine. The daughter doesn't ask "if", she asks whether or
not you are willing.

Nope. "another one's children" or "children of another one".
This is normal noun-noun construction interpretation.

Well, the noun should PRECEED {latlh}... and while it should be
plural, also remember that when plurality is obvious, Klingons
often omit plural suffixes. This would be such a case.
