A nice message, and as a new father myself, it's rather touching.
You've got the suffixes correct, and I especially like the use of
{-ta'} instead of {-pu'}. There's one thing I'd correct, though, and
that's the use of {'e'} in the middle. First, let's see if I've got
your intended meaning correct:
"With honor, your father prepared his children so that your children
may prepare their children."
{'e'} _does_ meant "that," but only in the sense of a pronoun. In
this case, I suggest {vaj} "so" better captures your meaning.
Or even better,
batlh puqpu'Daj qeqta'mo' vavlI'
batlh puqpu'chaj qeqjaj je puqpu'lI'
And avoid the issue altogether.
