The construction {vItIv} "I enjoy it" there is referring to
the previous sentence, {Holmey vIghojtaH}, "learning
languages." Since {tIv} "enjoy" is not a verb of saying,
or {neH} "want," you need to precede it with {'e'}. [See
TKD 6.2.5]. The use of {'e'} is sometimes tricky, and I
still get caught on it. You do use it correctly earlier
in the post, so I figure it was just a simple oversight.
The sentence should be:
Holmey vIghojtaH 'e' vItIv
"I enjoy learning languages"
Other than that, your post was exemplary! majQa'! I hope
to see more of your writing on the list soon, because
it's a pleasure to see good writing, and as encouragement
for other beginners.

PS. Oh, there's one more thing: the subject of your message
was {jIlIHegh}. I know that in TKD, when {-'egh} is introduced
on page 35 (4.2.1), it doesn't have a {'}. In all other uses
that I'm aware of, though, it has the apostrophe. Check out
the examples of it's use directly below on that page. Notice too,
that in the addendum when {-oy} is introduced (p. 174, 3.3.1), Okrand
says "It is a very peculiar suffix because it is the only suffix that
begins with a vowel rather than a consonant." This suggests that the
suffix for "-self" should be {-'egh} (taking {'} as a consonant).
So, I believe your subject should have been {jIlIH'egh}. Understandable
mistake!
