So, you think we missed something?
The clever reader may have noted a pattern among the phrases which are
commands in the phrase-list, that commands given to one person start with
yI- and commands given to more than one person
replace that with pe-. The cleverer reader may
have noticed that no such annotation exists for lojmIt
yIpoSmoH and suspect that the Humble Author was caught napping.
Fear not, I would not so mislead you. As it works out, the
pe- prefix is for commands given to more than
one person only when there is no direct object of the verb. In
lojmIt yIpoSmoH, we must use the prefix which is
appropriate to a singular third-person object, which is the same for one
person or many: yI-. But I'm glad you were
thinking!
