Klingon Extended Corpus Project

The Extended Corpus Project is an attempt to catalogue words attributed to Klingon from sources connected to Star Trek but not (necessarily) to tlhIngan Hol. Most of the words here are not properly part of the Klingon language as considered by speakers of the language (they even have sounds not in Klingon), but have been presented as instances of Klingon, both in otherwise authorized Star Trek sources (e.g., the hundreds of novels of Star Trek fiction), or unauthorized fan sources. The ECP was formed in the interests of completion and is an ongoing effort, one which (unlike most KLI projects) does not require extensive knowledge of the language. (proper name) Klingon warrior and crewmember of Kor's battlecruiser the Klothos. Jennas was a co-conspitator with Karsul to mutiny against Kor. [TOS p.79]

(n) A type of Klingon fighting sport of the lower classes of Klingon society. [TOS p.149]

Jheen

(proper name) A vicious Klingon spirit that inhabits woods and other wild places. Jheen is a female entity who is reportedly mischievious, capricious and unpredictable. It is said that she will obey Cymele herself and that even Durgath cannot command a Jheen without Cymele's consent. [PAS p.157]

Jitakh

(proper name) Klingon warrior from the House of Warrokh. Son of Ukray'k, father of Hojeen. [Ga p.95]

(proper noun-place) Name of a province on the Klingon colony world Don'zali IV. [INOH p.125]

Jogh Kenka

(proper name) Klingon master shipbuilder responsible for the design, simulation testing and construction of the "voDleH" class heavy battlecruiser. Kenka believed so strongly in this design that he was willing to fight over it against other designers andweapons representatives. One such fight cost Kenka one eye and three fingers. [STKA p.171]

(proper name) Klingon ambassador to the Federation. [INOH p.191]

Juk

(proper name) Klingon warrior serving aboard the battlecruiser taj commanded by Captain Qeyn. Juk was killed by Qeyn for voicing opposition during the Susuru mission. [FTD p.18]
