Cookies and this Website
People these days are so uptight about security and privacy and
all... and that's okay: these are important things to be concerned about.
But you should realize what you're worrying about and how much danger there
really is.
A "cookie" is not some sort of evil backdoor that instantly lets
malicious users into your computer. It is simply a small piece of text
that a website gives to your browser, and that your browser sends back
whenever it accesses a page on that site. We use it to keep track of who
you are after you've logged in. The cookie we use only lasts until you
close your browser, and doesn't get sent to any other site. So don't
worry.
