ragh means rust/corrode, but I think erosion also occurs via friction and not just chemical action.
I agree with the friction part. {ragh} works for positive action of "corroding". But, I look at "erosion" as something else. It is "an eating away" of the object. My truck is rusting. Okay, acid moisture in the air, i.e. oxydation, (I'm not a scientist) is eating at my trucks metal hull. I'm wanting more the concept of a river's eating away the rocks and forming a gorge.
